Purpose |
|

The Dental Health Clinic promotes and improves the oral and dental health of eligible children. Those eligible for these services are Medicaid and N.C. Health Choice insured children and uninsured children who are at/or below 100% of the Federal poverty level. Services provided include examinations, fillings, sealants, extractions, screenings, and education.

Availability |

Clinic hours are: Monday - Wednesday 7:45am - 5:30pm & Thursday 7:45am-5:00pm.. No clinic hours on Fridays.

Eligibility |
|
|
Children, ages birth through 12, who are on Medicaid or NC Health Choice. Uninsured children are eligible who are at/or below 100% of the Federal poverty level. NOTE: No new patients are being accepted at this time. |

To make an appointment, call 704-986-3845 during office hours. Appointment Policies Patients are expected to be on time for appointments. If you are more than 15 minutes late for an appointment, you may be asked to reschedule your child's appointment. Broken Appointments
Children with two broken appointments will be dismissed as patients from the Stanly County Dental Clinic. You will be responsible for finding another dentist to treat your child. Cancellations Emergency Treatment Needs If your child has a swollen mouth or face, take your child to the closest hospital emergency room immediately. If your child has been involved in an accident and sustained an injury to his/her teeth, you may call the Stanly County Dental Clinic during office hours. If the injury occurs after office hours, you may take your child to the closest hospital emergency room. Questions |
